(Amida) today announced the launch of Saraswati, a cloud-native quality measurement platform for health plans, managed care organizations (MCOs), and Medicaid programs. The platform supports Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) measure calculation and performance management. Saraswati gives users near-real-time visibility into National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) digital quality measures.
Today, the HEDIS cycle depends on annual batch reporting. Health plans and MCOs collect data from January through May, auditors review it over the summer, and final ratings appear in September. By the time an organization sees its scores, the underlying care occurred months earlier. Performance gaps that teams could address during an episode remain open and unresolved. For plans subject to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Star Ratings, this delay can affect plan comparisons, market position, and quality bonus payment eligibility.
Saraswati breaks that cycle. Saraswati’s real-time engine recalculates measures as new records arrive. The result is a live view of HEDIS performance, broken down by measure and population, that teams can use throughout the measurement year. Predictive analytics identify measures at risk, giving quality directors time to intervene before the reporting window closes.

Saraswati has NCQA certification across digital quality measures for measurement year 2025. It processes 2 million records per hour with 99.9 percent uptime and delivers results in fewer than four hours. Teams report a 30 percent faster path to NCQA submission through the Integrated Data Submission System (IDSS) and a 75 percent reduction in remediation cycle time.
