Friends of Zion Release New Song Uniting The World

PR Newswire

A song is crossing borders, languages, cultures and continents with one powerful message: the Jewish people are not alone

JERUSALEM, Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — As the world approaches the third anniversary of October 7, voices representing 17 countries and cultures are coming together in a powerful new global music video with a message of solidarity, remembrance and hope.

Mike Evans, founder of Friends of Zion, has created and produced “The Whole World Sings Together,” a new international song and music video bringing together voices representing communities from across the globe.

The voices featured in the song represent the United States, Israel, China, India, Brazil, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, France, Hungary, Iran, Yemen, Germany, Argentina, South Korea, Great Britain, Italy, Russia and Mexico.

Different cultures. Different languages. Different histories and realities.

One song. One message: the Jewish people are not alone.

On October 7, millions of people around the world are being invited to raise their voices and sing the song together as one global chorus.

Inspired by “We Are the World”

The vision behind the project was inspired by one of the most powerful musical moments in modern history: “We Are the World”.

Written by Lionel Richie and Michael Jackson and produced by Quincy Jones, the 1985 anthem brought together more than 40 of America’s leading artists under the name USA for Africa. The recording became a global symbol of compassion, unity and collective action. Four decades later, Evans believes music can once again bring people together around a cause that must not be forgotten.

“In 1985, the world sang together for Africa. Now, the world must sing together for the Jewish people”, says Evans. “October 7 cannot become another date that fades from memory. We will remember the lives that were taken, the families that were shattered, the hostages who suffered, and the people who continue to carry wounds the world cannot see”.

One Song. A Global Chorus.

At the heart of “The Whole World Sings Together” is a simple idea: people from different backgrounds can come together through music and speak with one voice. The lyrics capture that message:

The whole world sings together,

Standing with you face to face,

From the ashes comes tomorrow,

From the morning comes the light,

We will walk beside you always,

Through the darkness into light.

The song crosses borders and languages, bringing together voices representing communities from North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

It is a message of remembrance over forgetting, solidarity over silence, and hope over despair.

On October 7, the World Is Invited to Sing Together

Mike Evans and Friends of Zion are inviting people around the world to watch the music video, share it and sing along on October 7, creating a global moment of remembrance and solidarity.

The vision is to create a moment in which millions of people, wherever they are, can raise their voices through the same song and stand together in support of Israel and the Jewish people.

One song. Seventeen countries. One global chorus.

WATCH. SHARE. SING TOGETHER.
