LAS VEGAS, Oct. 27, 2026
Guests of all ages can crack the code with a free Illusion Quest add-on Nov. 6-8 at participating U.S. locations
LAS VEGAS, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Museum of Illusions, the largest and fastest growing private museum with immersive rooms filled with optical illusions designed to deceive the eye, invites guests celebrating National STEM Day (November 8) to put their curiosity to the test with its beloved Illusion Quest. Regularly a $10 add-on, this fun challenge sends participants searching for hidden clues across eight popular exhibits, inviting a closer look at each one. Museum of Illusions Wonder Seekers nationwide can enjoy Illusion Quest for free when they visit any participating location from November 6-8.
Introduced earlier this year, Illusion Quest turns a visit to the museum into an exciting mission. Participants receive a blue light and a clue sheet at check-in, then use them to uncover hidden letters tucked away in various rooms throughout the museum. Once all of the letters are found, players unscramble them to spell out a mystery word. Illusion Quest is available at all Museum of Illusions locations in the U.S. and will remain available after National STEM Day.
In honor of National STEM Day, Museum of Illusions is adding a STEM twist to the adventure. Wonder Seekers who take part will receive Brain Games, a set of coloring and activity sheets designed to spark creativity, curiosity and problem solving. The fall-themed sheets include an Optical Illusion Turkey, Fall Pattern Brain Teaser, Leaf Symmetry Challenge, Shape Hunt Turkey and Fall Shadow Match, inviting kids to explore patterns, symmetry, shapes and perception. Kids who complete the Brain Game sheet will earn a free STEM.org Authenticated™ toy to take home.
“National STEM Day is the perfect moment to launch our newest activation, Illusion Quest,” said Rob Cooper, interim CEO of Museum of Illusions. “With Illusion Quest and our new Brain Games, families will look at our exhibits through the lens of symmetry, shape and problem-solving, and have a great time doing it. It is a fun way to show that science, technology, engineering, and math are all around us – often hiding in plain sight.”
This year marks Museum of Illusions’ third year participating in National STEM Day, reinforcing the company’s ongoing commitment to bringing STEM education to life through immersive, hands-on experiences. In partnership with STEM.org Educational Research™ (SER), Museum of Illusions is recognized as a STEM.org Accredited™ Educational Experience and Top 5% Best In STEM Organization. Many of the museum’s most popular exhibits, including the Walk-in Kaleidoscope, which explores symmetry, reflection and repeating patterns, connect directly to core STEM concepts in geometry, perception and spatial reasoning.
Teachers with a valid ID always receive free admission at all Museum of Illusions locations, making the museum an easy choice for educators looking to bring STEM themes to life for their students.
Located nationwide, Museum of Illusions offers an interactive, mind-bending experience that delights guests of all ages. With more than 70 immersive exhibits and illusions, the museum blends entertainment and education, making it a must-visit destination throughout the year.
